Set up private meeting transcription, AI notes, search, chat, templates, and skills.

Kapinote is a local-first AI meeting assistant built specifically for macOS. It records both microphone and system audio without adding an intrusive bot to your call, keeps your entire meeting archive on your Mac, and lets you decide whether to process data with local on-device models or cloud providers.

Start with the basics

  1. Install Kapinote and grant permissions
  2. Record your first meeting
  3. Choose a transcription model
  4. Connect an AI provider for automatic notes and meeting chat
